FP&A Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the Westchester Specialty Group Finance team with financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes
• Own planning, forecasting, and reporting ledgers and supporting files for various business units
• Prepare monthly commentary on financial statements to describe significant events impacting results
• Maintain and improve data element mappings and modeling calculations
• Assist with annual and strategic planning and continuous forecast development
• Liaise with IT, Analytics, Underwriting, and Actuarial teams to resolve issues and improve data quality
• Build reporting packages and maintain queries to provide impactful financial data to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (Finance degree preferred)
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze significant amounts of information
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to manage projects and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience, including internships, part-time roles, or summer jobs
