Foundry Mechanic Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes and apply manufacturing parameters
• Create molds and cores for casting workpieces from aluminum or other metals
• Melt and maintain metal at required temperatures
• Set up, operate, and monitor foundry production equipment
• Demold and post-process cast parts
• Prepare permanent molds and insert cores
• Produce cast parts using automatic casting systems

Requirements

• Minimum of a Hauptschulabschluss (Grade 10)
• Strong technical understanding
• Ability to work independently and show initiative
• Reliability and strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• High level of motivation and willingness to learn
