Founding Team - Product Management and Engineering

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact problems by working closely with customers to spot needs before they are assigned.
• Build and automate end-to-end workflows using Mercury's AI stack, including Command, CLI, and MCP.
• Ship products to customers rapidly through quick understanding, tight iteration, and deployment.
• Measure impact honestly, killing unsuccessful experiments and doubling down on what works.
• Operate as an autonomous team to pick targets, ship products, and own the final outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven track record of shipping real products, tools, companies, or open-source projects that people actually use.
• Full-stack technical capability, including PMs who can prototype and engineers with strong product taste.
• Strong product judgment and clear opinions regarding the direction of AI products.
• Ability to move fast, embrace failure as part of the iteration process, and focus on impactful craft.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on driving real business impact and customer value.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI products using AI.
• Technical knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), evals, or agent harnesses.
