Founding Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and operations to design and build user-facing features and internal tools
• Own the development and launch of new products, working directly with clients to gather feedback and iterate quickly
• Build intuitive, high-quality front-end experiences for complex workflows with a strong focus on usability
• Make key backend design decisions, including API design, data modeling, and service architecture
• Develop modular, reusable components and systems to support scalability and maintainability
• Contribute to building the team’s technical culture through best practices and code quality

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building production software (frontend and backend)
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
• Affinity for good UX and passion for user experience
• Experience building, maintaining, and monitoring APIs
• Startup mentality with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
• Ability to solve problems with little guidance and a strong bias for action
• Willingness to work in person at our office 5 days a week

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of Python experience
• AWS experience
• Experience working with Relational databases
