Founding Product Engineer

About the Company

Listen Labs has built an AI interviewer that can ask follow-up questions, like a conversation, but at the scale and ease of use of a survey. We turn qualitative data into quantitative insights by clustering free-form conversation into structured formats using embeddings and fine-tuned LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Build and own products end-to-end, including the user experience
• Work on technical challenges involving speech-to-speech pipelines and multi-modality
• Fine-tune and prompt LLMs to facilitate high-quality conversational outputs
• Develop systems that are collaborative and built with other engineers in mind

Requirements

• Highly technical background
• Experience with Next.js and TypeScript
• Interest and experience in working with large language models
• Ability to work in person in our San Francisco office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on discussing technical tradeoffs
