About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and own the full hiring engine, leading recruiting end-to-end from role definition to closing candidates
- Develop the employer brand to attract top talent in the DACH region and beyond
- Scale recruiting processes, analytics, workflows, and operating rhythms
- Act as a strategic partner to founders on org design, talent planning, and hiring calibration
- Shape the people system, including performance calibrations, feedback rhythms, and compensation benchmarking
- Grow Mercura's network within the startup ecosystem, universities, and technical talent scenes
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in Talent, Performance, or organizational development
- Experience in a high-growth environment such as a startup or scaleup
- High bar for talent and excellence
- Structured thinking and ability to execute independently
- Strong storytelling and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with AI tools for workflow experimentation
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
