Founding GTM

Responsibilities

• Partner with the founding team to turn Baton’s sales motion into a repeatable GTM engine across outbound, pipeline generation, content, and partnerships.
• Build the systems and internal tools behind the GTM motion, using AI and automation to eliminate manual work.
• Translate customer conversations into sharper messaging, sales collateral, case studies, and ROI narratives.
• Lead high-priority strategic projects that sit between functions, driving work from definition to completion.
• Act as a trusted extension of the founders by synthesizing context across customers, product, and sales.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in startups, consulting, finance, investing, operations, or growth.
• Extremely high agency with the ability to identify what matters and drive it forward independently.
• AI-native and automation-minded; you use AI daily and build your own automations.
• Sharp communicator capable of turning messy information into simple narratives.
• Analytical and detail-obsessed with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Based in San Francisco and excited to work in person.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at an early-stage B2B SaaS or AI company.
• Exposure to solutions engineering, implementation, professional services, or enterprise software.
• Experience with outbound, partnerships, events, content, or founder-led sales.
