Founding Full-Stack Engineer

About the Company

Takt is building the brains of factories. We are closing the loop from data to insight to action by orchestrating AI agents with deep operational context across the entire manufacturing stack. Funded by Pear VC, we are redefining manufacturing as a software-defined industry.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with founders to build the core intelligence engine for modern factories
• Design, build, and deploy systems across the entire stack
• Influence early product, infrastructure, and architecture decisions
• Deploy and maintain full-stack production-grade code at scale
• Develop with speed using AI-native coding tools

Requirements

• 2-3 years minimum of prior engineering experience
• Experience deploying and maintaining full-stack production code for enterprise customers
• Strong cloud infrastructure skills, preferably Azure
• Deep experience with data pipelines and cleaning messy real-world data
• Strong generalist coding skillset with a focus on the back-end
• Ability to work 50-70 hours per week in person in San Francisco

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience shipping production AI/ML or LLM systems end-to-end
• Expertise in LLM tool orchestration, chain design, and prompt engineering
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems like ERP, MES, or SAP
• Working knowledge of relational and SQL databases
• Familiarity with data governance, SOC2, or GDPR
• Experience engaging with enterprise IT teams regarding security requirements
