Founding Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and operations (50% Engineering, 50% Customer interaction)
• Design the product backbone and prototype features by writing production code
• Transform operational learnings into reusable product features, data models, and playbooks
• Lead full-stack rollouts including scoping, onboarding, integration, and training
• Align IT teams, engineers, and C-level executives across Germany, the EU, and the US
• Work with the CEO & CTO to define product DNA and build foundations for future teams

Requirements

• Product architect mindset with a focus on UX, speed, and simplicity
• Systems thinker capable of designing scalable processes in code and operations
• High ownership and ability to work without handholding
• Confident communicator able to engage with both shop-floor operators and boardroom executives
• Fluent in German and English
• Ability to travel 10–30% internationally
