Founding Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical strategy for new company formation, including scoping feasibility, identifying infrastructure needs, and building proof-of-concept systems
• Design, build, and iterate on tooling and infrastructure to run AI/ML training and inference workloads at scale across health × AI applications
• Develop data and model pipelines that integrate multimodal health data (clinical text, omics, imaging, sensor data) for downstream AI/ML tasks
• Collaborate with domain experts and business stakeholders to incorporate commercial insights into model design and deployment

Requirements

• Experience building and deploying ML or AI systems in production
• Strong Python engineering skills with experience building scalable, testable codebases
• Comfort working in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments where requirements evolve
