About the Company

Pom Health is a doctor-prescribed food companion that partners with clinicians to bring nutrition care in-house. We pair registered dietitian counseling with AI-powered conversational support to help patients turn medical guidance into daily healthy habits.

Responsibilities

• Build across every product surface, including patient-facing tools, clinician EHR integrations, and practice administration interfaces
• Own technical decisions end-to-end, from architecture to deployment
• Engage directly with users (doctors, dietitians, and patients) to define product requirements
• Develop consumer-grade behavior change products and B2B tools for legacy healthcare infrastructure
• Implement AI-driven features and intelligent nudges for patient engagement
• Maintain high standards for security and compliance within a regulated HIPAA environment

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of engineering experience in high-growth healthcare or wellness companies
• Proven track record of building and owning production systems
• Experience building 0→1 products in ambiguous environments
• Proficiency in building with AI and LLMs
• Understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and regulated software environments
• Ability to work across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and data
• Strong desire to ship fast and iterate based on user feedback
