Founding Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end, from initial prototype to production-ready code
• Build core product surfaces, including employee-facing guidance UX and manager dashboards
• Work across the full stack to wire up LLM features that function reliably in production
• Partner directly with customers and join pilot calls to turn feedback into rapid product changes
• Influence the product roadmap and help shape the company's engineering culture and hiring
• Set up essential telemetry, evaluation systems, and observability to ensure product credibility

Requirements

• Full-stack production experience shipping products in fast-moving environments
• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Postgres
• Experience building across web and desktop environments (Electron, Tauri, or similar)
• Proven experience building and deploying LLM-powered features in production
• Strong production habits, including CI/CD, testing, and pragmatic system design
• Native comfort using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code)
• Ability to work on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building browser-based automation tools
• Experience building developer tools or enterprise-grade software
