Founding Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ship new features and iterate based on customer feedback
• Work one-on-one with the CEO and founding team
• Help with infrastructure scaling for cloud and on-premise environments
• Improve the underlying proprietary agent system
• Shape company culture and engage directly with users

Requirements

• Located in San Francisco or willing to relocate
• Valid US work permit (OPT is fine; no H1-B sponsorship)
• 2+ years of software engineering experience (new grads with strong pet projects encouraged)
• Excellence with TypeScript and Python
• Experience with LLMs (OpenAI API, Langchain, HuggingFace, etc.)
• Demonstration of autonomy and entrepreneurial spirit

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in AWS, cloud deployment, and CI/CD
• Usage of React 19 and Next.js 15
• Experience with ORMs such as Prisma or Drizzle
• Understanding of communication protocols (HTTP, WebRTC, WebSockets) and telephony systems
• Experience with micro-service architecture
• Machine learning research experience
• Previous startup experience
