About the Company

Mosaic is the AI-driven deal modeling platform for private markets, used by leading investors and advisors including Warburg Pincus, CVC, New Mountain, and Evercore. Mosaic automates and standardizes core deal analyses—such as LBOs and DCFs—so investment teams can move faster, reduce spreadsheet risk, and spend more time on investment judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for key product areas from early discovery through launch
• Translate messy real-world workflows into clear, intuitive product flows
• Produce high-quality UI and interaction design for core surfaces
• Build foundational components, patterns, and UX principles for the design system
• Design experiences that support accuracy, auditability, and confidence for power users
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and GTM teams to influence the roadmap
• Operate with high autonomy in a fast-growing startup environment

Requirements

• 4+ years of product design experience
• Strong instincts for information architecture and complex workflows
• Exceptional attention to detail in UI, interaction, typography, and layout
• Ability to synthesize customer feedback into sharp product insights
• Comfortable working directly with engineers to ship products

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for fintech, B2B SaaS, or workflow-heavy products
• Familiarity with spreadsheet-like UI patterns and analytical tooling
• Experience designing for AI-driven workflows
• Some front-end fluency to understand technical constraints
