Founding Design Engineer

About the Company

Hanover Park is building the AI-native fund administration platform for private markets. We administer over $15B in assets and are backed by Emergence Capital, Lux Capital, and Susa Ventures. We are a Series A company scaling rapidly to define the category of investment infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own the craft and interaction quality of the product end to end, ensuring detail and polish in dense financial workflows
• Design and build interaction patterns for human-AI collaborative workflows
• Own the design system, including components, patterns, documentation, and tooling
• Prototype rapidly in code to test ideas with users and stakeholders
• Partner with product, ops, and engineering to translate complex workflows into simple interfaces
• Work directly with customers and internal ops teams to shape design decisions based on real-world context

Requirements

• Currently hands-on, shipping user-facing product code
• Exceptional taste in interaction design and craft
• Strong full-stack fluency with particular strength on the frontend
• Experience with complex UI/UX involving dense data and multi-step workflows
• Proficiency with TypeScript and React

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for AI agent or automation-heavy products
• Background in fintech, capital markets, or data-dense B2B software
• Experience building or significantly leveling up a design system
