Founding Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Rebuild the data warehouse, owning architecture, schemas, and core datasets
• Deliver trusted, reusable data products for analytics, reporting, and AI features
• Establish data observability, including quality checks, freshness, and lineage
• Own in-app reporting features to help support leaders make decisions
• Enable self-serve analytics through evolved data layers and documentation
• Lay the retrieval layer for the AI agent's customer context
• Partner with GTM, CX, Product, and Engineering to translate business questions into scalable models

Requirements

• Experience building modern analytics stacks end-to-end from zero
• Strong proficiency with SQL, BigQuery, and dbt or Dataform
• Experience building user-facing analytics or AI retrieval layers using real-time data platforms like Tinybird or ClickHouse
• Strong focus on data quality, trust, and reusability
• Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced greenfield environment
