Founding AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and own the end-to-end AI stack including eval frameworks, fine-tuning pipelines, and agent orchestration
• Develop production AI agents for search, research, and composition tasks
• Design robust evaluation infrastructure and benchmarking suites to catch regressions
• Own fine-tuning pipelines using synthetic data and domain-adapted models
• Push R&D frontiers in physics-informed AI, weather simulations, and world models
• Set technical direction for model selection, prompt design, and the ML ops stack
• Mentor and lead future AI engineering hires

Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience building production ML/LLM systems (RAG, fine-tuning, evals, agent orchestration)
• Mastery of Hugging Face, LangChain, vector databases, and modern LLM ops
• Proven track record of shipping models that users depend on daily
• Strong experience designing benchmark suites and tracking model quality
• Leadership experience owning technical outcomes and mentoring teammates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with physics-informed neural networks or scientific computing
• Experience with simulation acceleration
• Published research in ML/AI or contributions to open-source ML frameworks
• Familiarity with NVIDIA tools such as NeMo, Modulus, or CUDA optimization
• Background in physics, engineering, or computational science
