Founding Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Navigate complex organizational hierarchies with key client executives to deepen relationships
• Meet regularly with clients to monitor account health and improve their experience
• Identify, develop, and close upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities
• Lead client onboarding and create standard operating procedures
• Work globally with counterparts in Asia, North America, and Latin America to ensure consistent service
• Monitor client metrics and work with Global Operations to address escalations and solve issues
• Architect 3-year supply chain roadmaps aligned with client global business goals
• Drive product adoption to ensure clients realize the full value of the Flexport platform
• Use Salesforce and other data tools to monitor the health of your book of business
• Mentor and coach fellow Account Managers on building long-term partnerships

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain operations, sales, account management, or a client-facing role
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain
• Proven track record of successfully cross-selling products
• Strong business acumen and consultative sales approach
• Excellent problem-solving skills and structured thinking
• High attention to detail and a data-driven mindset
• Ability to manage complex client needs and translate them into strategic solutions
