Founding Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle, including outbound prospecting, discovery calls, technical demos, security reviews, and closing contracts
• Generate and qualify pipeline through multiple channels including outbound motion, inbound leads, and events
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to manage successful proof-of-concepts and capture product feedback
• Architect and refine the go-to-market engine, including sales playbooks, outreach templates, and territory plans
• Navigate complex technical sales by discussing architecture and data infrastructure concepts with engineering stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience in full sales cycle ownership and outbound prospecting
• Technical fluency in APIs, data infrastructure, and AI/ML concepts
• Experience in early-stage SaaS environments (Seed through Series B)
• Demonstrated success selling data infrastructure, analytics, databases, or developer tooling
• Strong enterprise sales acumen with the ability to navigate multi-stakeholder cycles
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, resource-constrained environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a founding Account Executive or an early sales hire at a startup
• Background as a former founder or seller in developer-first platforms
