Responsibilities

  • Own and drive new business for Mercor by finding and educating prospective customers
  • Manage the full sales cycle from first call to close
  • Run high-velocity outbound motions through VC networks, founder communities, and tech conferences
  • Manage rapid sales cycles of 1-4 weeks including qualifying, demoing, and proposing
  • Speak the language of technical buyers regarding ML infrastructure and engineering org design
  • Develop startup-specific packaging and engagement models
  • Feed market intelligence back to Product and Delivery teams

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of quota-carrying sales experience in SaaS, developer tools, or tech marketplaces
  • Proven track record of selling to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and technical founders
  • Experience at a high-growth startup or as an early sales hire
  • Fluency in AI/ML technology concepts such as fine-tuning and GPU clusters
  • Strong personal network in the tech/AI startup ecosystem
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field
