Responsibilities
- Own and drive new business for Mercor by finding and educating prospective customers
- Manage the full sales cycle from first call to close
- Run high-velocity outbound motions through VC networks, founder communities, and tech conferences
- Manage rapid sales cycles of 1-4 weeks including qualifying, demoing, and proposing
- Speak the language of technical buyers regarding ML infrastructure and engineering org design
- Develop startup-specific packaging and engagement models
- Feed market intelligence back to Product and Delivery teams
Requirements
- 4-7 years of quota-carrying sales experience in SaaS, developer tools, or tech marketplaces
- Proven track record of selling to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and technical founders
- Experience at a high-growth startup or as an early sales hire
- Fluency in AI/ML technology concepts such as fine-tuning and GPU clusters
- Strong personal network in the tech/AI startup ecosystem
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field
