Founders Initiatives is a cross-functional team that works directly with Retell's founders on the company's highest-priority opportunities and challenges.

Responsibilities

• Build production-grade AI workflows, automations, and agent systems for HR, recruiting, and security compliance
• Develop lead scoring models and automated candidate engagement workflows
• Create operational infrastructure tools for finance and enterprise customer onboarding
• Integrate with CRM systems like Salesforce and HubSpot using tools like Zapier, n8n, and Make
• Design LLM-powered systems using OpenAI, Gemini, and Claude
• Build GTM engineering and growth automation pipelines for sales and marketing efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 1+ year of startup experience with comfort in ambiguity
• Strong backend, full-stack, or systems engineering skills
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs or AI agents in production
• High ownership mindset and ability to move fast

• Experience building systems that scale across product, engineering, and operations
• Ability to prioritize real-world impact over theoretical work
