Founders Associate Intern

About the Company

VREY is building the EnergyOS for multi-family residential buildings. We combine certified metering operations with our own software to enable owners to sell self-generated solar power directly to tenants, turning regulatory requirements into profitable opportunities. Having secured €3.3 million in seed funding, we are now entering our next growth phase.

Responsibilities

• Support the operational and technical implementation of ongoing customer energy projects from contract signature to realization
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project workflows
• Independently manage sub-projects and ensure structured documentation and tracking
• Analyze existing processes to identify complexity and optimization potential
• Assist in building scalable structures, standards, and templates for operational projects
• Develop internal processes and tools (e.g., Airtable) to increase operational efficiency
• Implement concrete optimizations and automations to improve existing workflows
• Take on cross-departmental special projects in organization, tooling, and internal structures

Requirements

• Current student in Bachelor or Master (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Energy Economics, Business Administration) or in a gap year
• Initial experience in Consulting (Tier 1/Tier 2), High-Growth Start-ups (Operations/Process Optimization), or Project Management via internships
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to make independent, data-driven decisions
• Strong interest in start-ups, energy, or real estate
• Fluency in German and English
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate
