Founders Associate - Finance & Strategic Projects

About the Company

VREY is building the EnergyOS for multi-family residential buildings. We combine certified metering operations with our own software to enable owners to sell self-generated solar power directly to tenants, turning regulatory requirements into profitable opportunities. Having secured €3.3M in Seed funding, we are now entering our next growth phase.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic sparring partner to the founders, structuring complex issues like debt financing and performance reviews
• Translate the founders' vision and strategy into concrete roadmaps and operational goals
• Take ownership of cross-departmental key projects, specifically focusing on finance, new business models, and fundraising preparation
• Automate cash flow management, document management, and investor reporting
• Build scalable structures, decision-making processes, and reporting systems

Requirements

• Experience in Tier 1/Tier 2 consulting, high-growth startups, or VC/PE
• Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Energy Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience or strong interest in the energy or real estate industries
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to make independent, data-driven decisions
• Fluency in German and English
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate
