Founder's Associate Finance

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to management, driving the growth of a new product through financial analysis and process optimization
• Take responsibility for the development of financial accounting and controlling functions
• Identify optimization potential in processes and systems and drive automation and digitalization initiatives alongside the IT team
• Manage day-to-day operations, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee the invoice and credit note process, from verification to approval
• Develop steering and planning instruments to provide transparency on economic development and provide actionable recommendations to management

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable field
• Practical experience in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling
• Strong analytical skills, numerical understanding, and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Fluent German (C1 level) and good English skills (B2 level)
