Foundation, Corporation, and Research Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all grant activities, including prospect research, proposal writing, submission, and follow-up reporting.
• Manage a docket of foundations and institutional funders to secure revenue for general operations and special projects.
• Lead corporate relations by engaging business supporters and developing corporate sponsorships for events.
• Develop and implement an annual written plan and timeline for grant and corporate outreach activities.
• Collaborate with Hospital Managers to identify prospective funding opportunities and support proposal development.
• Manage the research process to identify and qualify potential prospects using Blackbaud and other analytics tools.
• Perform face-to-face solicitations and develop cultivation strategies to move donors toward increased giving.
• Maintain positive relationships with foundation and corporate funders through consistent communication and recognition.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of grant writing and/or corporate relations experience within a not-for-profit organization.
• Proven ability to craft well-organized, cohesive, and compelling narratives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge or Blackbaud research and analytics tools.
