Forward Logistics Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware picking according to FIFO policies
• Stage and pack orders for shipment
• Assist with inventory management, hardware tracking, and e-recycling
• Use ticketing systems to report work accomplishments and track metrics
• Utilize inventory data management software to maintain accuracy and workflow
• Receive and inspect shipments, verifying deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips
• Load and unload shipments and perform loading dock duties
• Maintain inventory records and assess warehouse needs for supplies
• Unbox and stock inventory on shelves and break down packing materials
• Assist in inventory procedures including total stock counts and spot checks
• Maintain a safe and orderly warehouse environment through regular cleanup

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience or training
• High attention to detail and ability to follow technical directions
• Proficiency with ticketing, inventory, and dispatch management systems
• Strong organizational skills and effective record-keeping techniques
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and ability to learn new software
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Outlook, and web browsers
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet important deadlines
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Proficient English communication skills (speaking, writing, and reading)

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
