Forward Logistics Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware picking according to FIFO policies
• Manage the staging and packing of orders
• Assist with inventory management, hardware tracking, and e-recycling processes
• Use ticketing systems to report work accomplishments and track performance metrics
• Utilize inventory data management software to maintain accuracy and workflow
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying deliveries against purchase orders for damages or shortages
• Load and unload shipments and perform loading dock duties as assigned
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assess warehouse supply needs
• Unbox and stock inventory on shelves and manage packing materials
• Assist in physical inventory counts and spot checks
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly warehouse environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience or training
• High attention to detail and ability to follow technical directions
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Outlook, and web browsers
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and ability to learn new software
• Strong organizational skills and effective record-keeping techniques
• Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficient English communication skills (speaking, writing, and reading)
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified)
