Forward Deployment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Embed with strategic customer accounts to translate business challenges into production-ready Agentic AI systems
• Partner with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success teams as a deep technical authority during pre-sales and post-sales
• Synthesize customer pain points and integration patterns to influence the core product roadmap
• Navigate enterprise infrastructure to integrate the platform with cloud, on-prem, and data pipelines
• Design and deploy complex multi-agent systems, architectures, and fine-tuned models tailored to customer requirements
• Author multi-step prompts, retrieval pipelines, and decision logic for integration with CRMs, ERPs, and custom APIs

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting)
• Deep expertise in LLMs, Generative AI, vector databases, and agent orchestration frameworks
• Proficiency in Python, Go, and JS/TS
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks
• Business-level fluency in Japanese and English
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs to both engineering teams and C-suite executives

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of telephony stacks including WebRTC, SIP, and SBCs
• Experience deploying chatbots or voice bots at scale (>10K daily conversations)
• Contributions to open-source AI agent frameworks
