Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement agent-based AI solutions using the Workato Agentic AI platform
• Develop advanced prompting, memory management, and behavior-planning techniques for LLMs
• Act as a technical solutions expert for AI-driven architectures and RAG pipelines
• Develop and maintain scalable AI-powered IT workflows with agent-based decision-making
• Work closely with customers to deliver tailored agentic AI and RAG-based solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI workflows into existing IT frameworks
• Assist product managers in creating technical and design specifications

Requirements

• BTech/BE or higher in Computer Science, AI, ML, or a related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience in design, development, and implementation
• Proven experience in AI engineering with a focus on agent-based systems
• Experience with integration projects, automation technologies, and middleware
• Strong working knowledge of RESTful and SOAP/XML APIs
• Solid understanding of JSON data structures and RDBMS/NoSQL databases
• Strong English communication skills to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or Ruby
• Experience with integration platforms like TIBCO, Dell Boomi, or MuleSoft
• Experience with cloud technologies, iPaaS, and SaaS applications
• Experience with Workato
• Experience with cloud business apps such as Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce, or ServiceNow
