Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement agent-based AI solutions and intelligent, autonomous workflows using the Workato Agentic AI platform
• Deploy Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enable context-aware responses from LLMs
• Develop advanced prompting, memory management, and behavior-planning techniques for agents
• Act as a technical solutions expert troubleshooting AI-driven architectures and scalable RAG pipelines
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable AI-powered IT workflows with agent-based decision-making
• Work closely with customers to deliver tailored, scalable agentic AI and RAG-based solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI workflows into existing IT frameworks
• Assist product managers in creating technical and design specifications

Requirements

• BTech/BE or higher in Computer Science, AI, ML, or a related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience in design and development
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Workato
• Proven experience in AI engineering with a focus on agent-based systems
• Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or Ruby
• Strong knowledge of APIs (RESTful, SOAP/XML) and data structures (JSON)
• Experience with RDBMS/NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of integration architecture, middleware, and web services
• Strong English communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with integration platforms like TIBCO, Dell Boomi, or MuleSoft
• Experience with cloud technologies (iPaaS, SaaS, cloud infrastructure)
• Experience with cloud business apps such as Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce, or ServiceNow
• Knowledge of Microservices, event-driven architecture, or BPM/RPA
