Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to strategic clients, providing guidance during the pre-sales cycle to help design solutions and close deals.
• Lead post-sales technical integrations, owning client problems end-to-end and building proofs-of-concept for complex requirements.
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation and product demos to bring the Taxbit platform to life.
• Serve as the voice of the customer to Product and Engineering teams, translating field challenges into actionable roadmap initiatives.
• Contribute directly to the core Taxbit platform by building scalable, well-tested, and maintainable code for new features and integration capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with designers, product managers, and sales to solve complex platform-level problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional programming experience building cloud applications and services.
• Expertise in building, consuming, and documenting scalable and resilient APIs.
• Full-stack experience with deep comfort in both modern web frontends and backend distributed systems.
• Proven experience in client-facing technical roles, interfacing with external developers and business stakeholders.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, NodeJS, and React.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional proficiency in English; fluency in a main European language is highly preferred.
• Ability to travel internationally a few times per year and maintain flexible hours for global collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Iceberg, Hive, Kafka, or Presto.
• Familiarity or strong interest in the Web3 and digital asset space.
• Experience with data monitoring and observability tools like DataDog.
