Forward Deployed Engineer

Rime builds voice AI for enterprises running customer experiences at scale. Our text-to-speech models are purpose-built for high-volume conversational deployments, engineered for the pronunciation accuracy, latency, and deployment flexibility that production environments actually demand.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical closer during strategic deals by building necessary prototypes
• Deploy frontier models into production environments through real integrations and infrastructure
• Own the end-to-end POC process, designing and shipping production-quality frontend, backend, and integrations
• Manage technical stakeholder relationships from initial demo through go-live and expansion
• Feed technical patterns and customer requirements back into the product roadmap

Requirements

• Full-stack engineering capability to ship clean, production-quality systems quickly
• Deep comfort with APIs, SDKs, and cloud infrastructure in live customer environments
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments with short timelines and high stakes
• Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between engineers and executives
• Experience working directly with customers while maintaining hands-on coding workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with voice AI, TTS, speech, or real-time systems
• Background working with ISVs, platforms, or developer ecosystems
• Familiarity with WebRTC, streaming, or low-latency systems
