Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Configure and evolve operational workflows including routing, task creation, and automation
• Build and maintain agent workflows for tool use, guardrails, and escalation paths
• Develop and iterate automated communication agents for voice and messaging channels
• Partner with Sales and Account Management to drive customer outcomes and expansion
• Create validation mechanisms such as simulations, eval sets, and dashboards
• Write runbooks and documentation to enable team scaling

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of engineering experience
• Demonstrated experience using Claude Code to build or debug software
• Proven ability to adapt to rapidly evolving AI tools and models
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical topics to customers
• Comfort interfacing directly with customers in a high-touch capacity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OpenAI products
• Experience building automation, agents, or quality gates
• Background in forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, or technical operations
