Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build whatever is necessary to drive customer value, including eval applications, customized agents, or product modifications
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to land prospects and enable customers
• Build close relationships with technical stakeholders at customer organizations
• Create diagnostics, dashboards, and eval harnesses to measure performance and track regressions
• Act as a feedback loop to product and engineering teams to surface usability gaps and unmet needs
• Work directly with founders to shape product direction and engineering strategy

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of experience deploying software in production settings, ideally with enterprise or regulated customers
• Proficiency with Python
• Ability to navigate Bash and infrastructure as needed
• Quantitative approach to building products with ability to debug, experiment, and iterate fast
• High agency and a high bar for quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience founding a company or building products at early stages
• Prior experience in a forward-deployed role
• Knowledge of the latest developments in ML/AI
