Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Company

praxipal is building an AI-powered healthcare admin workforce to address the global shortage of medical staff. Their AI receptionist, Luna, automates phone calls and patient communication for medical practices. Backed by leading European investors, they are one of the fastest-growing healthtech startups in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical onboarding of new customers from deployment to stable production
• Configure and customize Luna to fit different practice setups and workflows
• Implement customer-specific solutions and feed patterns back into the core product
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers
• Build internal tools, scripts, and automations to scale onboarding and operations
• Support Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing with technical insights and analytics
• Investigate and resolve production issues affecting customers

Requirements

• Hands-on programming experience
• Proven ability to own software or technical systems end-to-end
• Comfort working directly with customers on technical topics
• Fluent German (spoken and written)
• Ability to work on-site in Berlin

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong programming experience in TypeScript and/or Python
• Prior experience in startups or scale-ups
• Experience with observability and debugging tools (e.g., Sentry, Grafana, Langfuse)
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles
• Experience improving operational processes through automation
