Forward-Deployed Engineer

Pangram Labs’ mission is to protect authenticity by building the world’s best AI detection systems. We publish research on state-of-the-art AI detection techniques and algorithms, and build products to bring our technology into people's daily lives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical owner for enterprise and education accounts across the full lifecycle
• Design and build customer-facing integrations against our API, including LMS connections, batch-processing pipelines, and SSO
• Embed with customers to prototype and ship solutions directly
• Run technical demos, scoping calls, and POCs alongside the sales team
• Troubleshoot live deployment and detection-accuracy issues across the stack
• Act as the feedback loop between customers and product/engineering teams
• Produce integration guides, reference implementations, and internal documentation

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack depth
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Node.js
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, SSO/SAML, and webhooks
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, and CI/CD
• Strong customer instincts and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to handle ambiguity and context-switch between deep technical work and relationship management
