Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery across multiple deployments from initial prototype to stable production
• Build full-stack systems that deliver customer value and provide insights for model improvement
• Embed closely with customer teams to understand needs and guide the adoption of new solutions
• Scope work, sequence delivery, and proactively remove technical or operational blockers
• Make critical trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality to protect delivery timelines
• Contribute directly to production-grade code when necessary to ensure progress
• Codify working patterns into reusable tools, playbooks, or building blocks
• Share field feedback with Research and Product teams to influence the product roadmap

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering or technical deployment experience
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles
• Proficiency in full-stack development using Python, JavaScript, or comparable stacks
• Experience building or deploying systems powered by LLMs or generative models
• Ability to travel up to 50% to support customer deployments
