Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with AEs to lead technical discovery and evaluations with technical leadership personas
• Design and build custom prototypes, PoCs, and reference architectures for real-world AI actions
• Translate abstract infrastructure and API concepts into value-driven solutions for customers
• Funnel technical market feedback back to Product and Engineering teams to shape the roadmap
• Navigate complex technical hurdles in high-value deal cycles
• Consult customers on broader AI strategy using the latest ecosystem tools

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or technical consulting
• Experience selling highly technical infrastructure such as Databases, Security, Integration, or Cloud
• Fluency in systems architecture and enterprise integrations (iPaaS, ETL, RPA, or API gateways)
• Hands-on coding proficiency with APIs, SDKs, and modern languages like Python or TypeScript
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate technical concepts to executive buyers
• An evangelist mindset with interest in public speaking and technical content creation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building with LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen
• Background in backend engineering with production microservices and distributed systems
• Deep expertise in Identity and Security (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM)
• Infrastructure experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience in data science, ML engineering, or applied AI/ML
