Normal Computing builds silicon that turns thermal noise from an obstacle into a computational resource. We co-design the full stack: AI-native EDA systems in production with the world's largest semiconductor companies, and the advanced ASICs they make possible.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues in the system, model, data, or workflow within customer environments
- Design and run evaluations against real customer workflows to validate generated artifacts
- Integrate the platform with customer data, design flows, and existing infrastructure
- Translate customer constraints into model and platform requirements for internal research and product teams
- Post-train models on proprietary customer data and build continual-learning loops
- Make strategic decisions on product development and codify successful patterns
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with proficiency in Python
- Experience with distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with the modern ML stack (prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evals, RAG, agentic patterns, model deployment)
- Ability to gain fluency in semiconductor verification workflows, including SystemVerilog and UVM testbenches
- Experience shipping ML systems in production environments
- Ability to travel when needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with EDA, semiconductor design flows, or verification workflows
- Experience building or leading a Forward Deployed Engineering function
- Open-source contributions or publications in AI/ML venues
