Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Embed with customers to understand their operations deeply
• Build and ship dashboards, tools, and features end-to-end
• Gather field intelligence, user feedback, and performance data
• Own the customer relationship on the ground as the face of the company
• Work with engineering to compress the feedback loop between field reality and product iteration

Requirements

• Ability to build, design, code, and deploy apps or internal tools independently
• Ability to learn new domains quickly
• Comfort with customer embedding and frequent travel
• Ability to operate effectively without manuals or clear requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with aviation systems, flight schools, avionics, or defense operations
• Pilot certificate or flight training experience
• Experience working on military installations or in DoW environments
