Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical onboarding of new institutions to the ModernFi platform from account setup to go-live
• Manage infrastructure setup for clients including provisioning SFTP servers and keypairs with Pulumi
• Collaborate with bank IT teams to configure SSO in Auth0
• Coordinate onboarding for third-party digital banking integrations
• Own and improve public API documentation
• Build tooling, dashboards, or internal features using Python and Retool
• Optimize self-service onboarding tools by partnering with the CS team

Requirements

• Engineering background with a CS degree or equivalent experience
• Proficiency working with code and infrastructure (SFTP, Python scripts, SQL queries)
• Excellent communication skills for guiding clients through technical setups
• Ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Auth0, Pulumi, Python, PostgreSQL, or Retool
