Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand their workflows, needs, and problems
• Design and implement solutions for customers that integrate with Lovable
• Translate insights from real usage into foundational platform improvements
• Own projects end-to-end from idea to architecture to shipping and iteration
• Shape how Forward Deployed Engineering works at Lovable including rituals and playbooks
• Contribute to core product strategy and technical decisions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack products
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Robust backend development experience
• Strong architectural thinking and familiarity with distributed systems
• Ability to rapidly prototype and experiment
• Exceptional product intuition and ability to work directly with users
• Comfort operating in high-ambiguity, high-agency environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agentic AI systems or building with LLMs
• Experience leading zero-to-one product development
• Experience in a founding or early startup environment
