Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Embed with enterprise customers to write production-grade code bridging Legora's platform with existing legal tech stacks
• Own the full technical scoping process, including requirement gathering and integration architecture design
• Build and maintain reusable connectors, automation scripts, and tooling for customer deployments
• Debug and resolve complex production issues within customer environments
• Act as the technical voice of the customer to internal product and engineering teams
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to scope new deals and expand existing accounts

Requirements

• Strong generalist engineer experienced in backend code, APIs, auth protocols, and data pipelines
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as pre-sales, solutions, or embedded delivery
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns including SSO (SAML, OIDC), REST, and webhooks
• Experience with document management systems like iManage, SharePoint, or NetDocuments
• Ability to communicate effectively with both IT administrators and strategic partners
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, early-stage environments
