Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Embed with Tier 1 enterprise accounts to own end-to-end deployments of the agentic AI platform
• Lead AI agents into production within complex environments including legacy systems and security frameworks
• Partner with Enterprise AEs in late-stage sales cycles to lead proof-of-concept builds
• Surface field patterns to product and engineering teams to influence the roadmap
• Build out the FDE practice by creating repeatable deployment playbooks and mentoring mid-level FDEs

Requirements

• Significant experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles
• Experience shipping production code in complex enterprise environments
• Demonstrable experience deploying AI or data-heavy products into large organisations
• Strong full-stack or backend engineering fundamentals with Python expertise
• Proficiency with APIs, SQL, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and data pipelines
• Ability to travel to client sites across the UK and Europe (30–50% of the time)
• Strong communication skills for both technical and business audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LLM deployment, AI agents, or agentic workflow automation
• Background in high-growth B2B SaaS or AI-native companies
• Experience in financial services, media, agencies, consumer goods, or technology verticals
• Prior experience in FDE, solutions architect, or technical account management roles
