Responsibilities

• Lead discovery with customer engineers to identify bottlenecks and define success metrics
• Design and build Cursor-powered workflows such as large-scale refactors, migrations, and PR review loops
• Ship fast first versions and harden them into reliable systems with proper rollout plans and monitoring
• Own production quality including tracing, evals, metrics, and debugging model behavior
• Work directly with Staff+ and Platform leaders to communicate tradeoffs and results
• Turn custom builds into reusable patterns to improve the core Cursor product

Requirements

• Experience building and owning AI-native workflows in production
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear scopes and shipped systems
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with production reliability, including metrics, alerts, and incident response
• Ability to build end-to-end across frontend, backend, infra, and prompt iteration
