Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customer engineering teams to design, prototype, and implement integrations
• Build proof-of-concepts and code snippets that accelerate adoption
• Advise on tradeoffs, system design, and best practices for scaling payments infrastructure
• Own technical onboarding from signed contract through production launch
• Debug live integration issues across APIs, SDKs, and payment flows
• Analyze transaction and integration data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities
• Translate customer challenges into product insights for Engineering and Product teams
• Build internal tools, documentation, and reusable integration assets

Requirements

• 2–5 years of software engineering experience or technical background
• Coding ability in TypeScript and React
• Strong grasp of REST APIs, integrations, and distributed system data flows
• Ability to write database queries for debugging and analysis
• Excellent communication skills for customer conversations and technical workshops
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

• Experience in payments, fintech, or transaction processing
