Responsibilities

• Deploy Blitzy into complex enterprise environments and navigate technical constraints
• Write custom integrations and extensions using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.x
• Translate business goals into technical implementations using AI capabilities
• Write production-quality Java services including Spring MVC, Data JPA, and Security
• Build and evolve REST APIs using a contract-first approach with OpenAPI/Swagger
• Own data persistence with PostgreSQL, Hibernate/JPA, and Liquibase
• Package and deploy containerized services with Docker and Maven
• Write thorough test coverage using JUnit 5, Cucumber, and JMeter
• Collaborate with product teams to prioritize features based on field experience

Requirements

• 4–10 years of software engineering experience shipping production code
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17
• Expertise in Spring Boot 3.x (MVC, Data JPA, Security, Actuator)
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Hibernate/JPA
• Experience with Maven, Liquibase, and Docker
• REST API development using OpenAPI/Swagger
• Testing experience with JUnit 5, Cucumber/Gherkin, and JMeter
• Familiarity with microservice architectures and CI/CD
• Strong communication skills with ability to overlap with US time zones
• Must be based in or willing to work in-person from Pune, India

Preferred Qualifications

• Jakarta EE and Spring Boot 3 migration experience
• Exposure to event-driven architecture with Apache Kafka
• Experience with Confluent Schema Registry and Apache Avro
• Observability experience with Micrometer and Dynatrace
• Background in AI/ML or enterprise modernization projects
