Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering leaders, platform teams, and administrators to connect Command to existing systems
• Establish technical and operational foundations for product adoption
• Move between cloud infrastructure, integrations, workflow design, automation, and engineering coaching
• Work directly in customer environments configuring access to source-control, CI/CD, ticketing, and identity systems
• Write production-quality code and turn customer-specific solutions into reusable product capabilities

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, forward deployed engineering, or customer-facing technical roles
• Strong coding and systems-thinking skills
• Deep understanding of product development and engineering workflows
• Experience building or integrating software via APIs, event flows, data models, and automation
• Ability to work directly with customers and internal stakeholders in ambiguous environments
• Strong technical communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
