Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the hands-on development, configuration, and deployment of conversational AI systems for enterprise clients.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise clients, leading technical discussions and troubleshooting issues.
• Design creative solutions to overcome platform or integration constraints while maintaining system reliability and scalability.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to represent client needs and communicate product roadmap direction.
• Own the reliability and performance of deployed systems, ensuring production environments meet strict SLAs.
• Lead integrations with enterprise infrastructure, including telephony systems (SIP, RTP), backend services, and external APIs.
• Apply a data-driven approach by designing logging, monitoring, and analytics systems to surface insights.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of client-facing experience in solution implementation, technical consulting, or a similar role.
• Strong technical foundation in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analysis, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with VoIP protocols such as SIP and RTP.
• Familiarity with containerization and microservice deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Native-level proficiency in English.
• Must be based in Vancouver.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI productivity and/or automation tools in daily tasks.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex projects and navigate multiple stakeholder relationships.
• Passion for building voice-driven AI technologies that impact everyday life.
