FortiSOAR Specialist

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate and automate incident response using FortiSOAR to support customer engagements and security operations.
• Develop complex playbooks and custom connectors to integrate various security technologies.
• Deploy, configure, manage, and monitor FortiSOAR in dedicated, on-prem, and cloud (multitenant) environments.
• Integrate new logging sources to improve triage and response times for security incidents.
• Design and architect FortiSOAR solutions within customer environments, including dashboards, reports, and incident war rooms.
• Act as the primary technical SME for automation, integration, and playbook development.
• Support pre-sales and business development activities for new and existing services.
• Collaborate with Cyber Engineering, Cyber Defense, and Service Delivery teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiSOAR.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing FortiSOAR connectors and playbooks.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, GO, Kusto/KQL, or PowerShell.
• Deep understanding of security technologies including SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel, Qradar), NGFW, CTI, and WAF.
• Knowledge of cyber threat actor TTPs and incident response lifecycles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

• NSE 6 FortiSOAR Administrator certification.
• NSE 7 FortiSOAR Design and Development (Architect) certification.
• CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification.
• ITIL accreditation.
